HDPE HEX4460 PE80+
HDPE HEX4460 PE80+ is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade known for its high molecular weight and high melt viscosity, making it ideal for extrusion applications. This material is produced using a 1-hexene co-monomer, which classifies it as PE 80+. It offers excellent stress crack resistance (ESCR), long-term hydrostatic strength, and good processability. The physical properties of HDPE HEX4460 PE80+ include a high load melt flow index of 6.0 g/10 min at 190°C/21.6 kg and a density of 0.944 g/cm. Mechanically, it boasts a tensile strength at yield of 25 MPa and an elongation at break of over 1000%, making it highly durable and flexible. Its thermal properties include a melting temperature of 129°C and an oxidation induction time of over 30 minutes at 200°C.
Applications of HDPE HEX4460 PE80+
