Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) 2420K, also known as Lupolen 2420K, is a versatile polymer produced by LyondellBasell. This non-additivated, low-density polyethylene is known for its excellent processability and optical properties. Delivered in pellet form, LDPE 2420K is widely used in various applications due to its unique characteristics. LDPE 2420K has a melt flow rate of 4.0 g/10 min at 190°C/2.16 kg, a density of 0.924 g/cm³, and a tensile modulus of 260 MPa. Its tensile stress at yield is 11 MPa, and it exhibits impressive tensile strength in both machine direction (MD) and transverse direction (TD), with values of 22 MPa and 17 MPa, respectively. The material also boasts high tensile strain at break, with 300% in MD and 600% in TD. These properties make LDPE 2420K suitable for a range of demanding applications.
